A wonderful farmstead and the ancient home of noble families, nestled on a rolling hillside used to grow vines in the heart of Barolo, <\/span>Tenuta Carretta is a multi-faceted wine tourism business<\/b> which boasts <\/span>550 years of <\/b>history. Owned by the Miroglio family, well-known textile industrialists, with 70 hectares of vineyards in the Langhe-Roero and Monferrato wine-growing area, in addition to the winery, it includes the stylish Albergo di Charme hotel with 10 rooms, a welcoming wine shop and two restaurants: <\/span>Ristorante 21 Punto 9 <\/b>and<\/span> Locanda in Cannubi.<\/b><\/p>\n

21.9<\/b><\/a> is a <\/span>Michelin-starred restaurant<\/b> located in Piobesi d\u2019Alba, at the company\u2019s headquarters. Run by the <\/span>Chef Flavio Costa,<\/b> it gets its name from his daughters\u2019 birthday. In the words of the Chef, the cuisine is \u201c<\/span>warm, modern, instinctive, straightforward and instant<\/span><\/i>\u201d, a mix between Piedmont and Ligurian traditions enriched with his own creative touch. Alongside fish, the dishes are based on vegetables, offal and game, with help from many herbs.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

A refined, elegant location with attention paid<\/b> down to the smallest detail which, alongside Michelin-star cuisine and the stunning surrounding landscape, can stir special feelings.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The venue also includes a hotel with nine rooms and a spa that is perfect for pampering yourself in the peace and tranquility of the Langhe countryside.<\/span><\/p>\n

LA TORRICELLA<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Located <\/span>on the hills of the municipality of Monforte and Roddino, La Torricella<\/b> is a multi-faceted company that can offer the full experience: it includes 13 hectares of vineyards, a winery with a tasting room, a holiday farm with eight rooms and a restaurant. This incredibly cozy restaurant is equipped with two connected inner rooms that open up with large windows over the panoramic view, an outside area overlooking the swimming pool and a large garden. <\/span>It is a chic, stylish, beautifully designed place.<\/b> The love for the land also shines through in the kitchen, where they use fine ingredients while respecting the rhythm of nature. In fact, they use vegetables from their garden, while the meat, eggs, cheeses, cured meats and flour are all local. Alongside <\/span>local dishes<\/b>, the menu also offers <\/span>fusion cuisine with Italian and international flavors and aromas<\/b> and a <\/span>truffle menu from October to December<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

This is all paired with <\/span>La Torricella Diego Pressenda <\/b>wines and a wine list with a selection of local bottles. There is an interesting <\/span>picnic menu<\/b> that includes a tasting platter of mixed starters, desserts and fruit depending on the day\u2019s offering for you to enjoy among the vineyards.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

An oasis of peace and tranquility in Langhe, <\/b>Ca\u2019 Brusa<\/b><\/a> fully immerses its guests in the local region. In fact, it is <\/span>a holiday farm with a winery and a restaurant. A place where you can immerse yourself in nature and discover local delicacies: as well as the excellent <\/span>wine<\/b>(dolcetto, barbera and barolo) <\/b>there are also <\/span>jams, cheeses, cured meats, bread and pasta all strictly made by hand.<\/b>\u00a0 At the farmstead <\/span>they also rear free-range chickens<\/b> that are then used in the kitchen. The restaurant offers a tasting menu with an entr\u00e9e, first course, main course, a trio of desserts and wines paired with each dish. <\/span>It is a real triumph of the flavors of Langhe, <\/b>all at \u20ac40 per person (including drinks).\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Ca\u2019 Brusa is also located in a prime strategic position. Dating back to the 1800s, the <\/span>Ascheri wineries<\/b><\/a> are guardians of an ancient, noble tradition that saw Bra become a very important wine market around that very time thanks to the House of Savoy, which owned considerable estates in the surrounding area. It is a <\/span>place of times gone by <\/b>that has been able to perfectly combine <\/span>tradition and innovation<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Its jewel is <\/span>the tavern built on the site of the first Barolo aging cellars in 1880<\/b> belonging to the Ascheri family. It is a treasure chest of history, where you can eat by following the menu written on the board, featuring <\/span>typical Piedmont dishes<\/b>, served on old wooden tables. The menu has 4-5 dishes on offer with recommended wine pairings.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
