Let\u2019s start from the beginning, partly to explain what we\u2019re doing here, and partly to introduce ourselves.<\/span><\/p>\n

We\u2019re Bianca, Eleonora, Robert, Simone, and Gabriele, but collectively we\u2019re Caff\u00e8Lab, and we like that better, because as a group we\u2019re stronger!<\/span><\/p>\n

Together, we used our strength to bring our idea for a coffee laboratory to life: a place where there are basically two protagonists: coffee, as an agricultural product, which comes from the field and has a history; and coffee connoisseurs, who become fundamental participants, who can create their special blend and enjoy a cup of coffee as a true experience, not just as a mere service or as a vehicle for caffeine.<\/span><\/p>\n

That\u2019s all well and good, but why did you find us in the Vinhood magazine? Simple, we like sharing. We\u2019re sharing the philosophy, the love for good food, the desire to talk about it, experience it, and give it value, to convey the hard work, attention, craftsmanship, passion, and even little secrets that got us here. We\u2019re here because, like Vinhood, we too are confident that we can give a social value to the simple act of purchasing food, produced by people.<\/span><\/p>\n

CAFF\u00c8LAB: A RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN GROWERS AND SOFTWARE<\/b><\/h2>\n

We created <\/span>\u00a0caffelab.it<\/span><\/a> in 2015 under the umbrella of Mokaflor, a historic Florentine roasting company that\u2019s been active for more than 70 years. We felt ready to do it, because we felt able to bring together a series of abilities that we\u2019d acquired throughout our professional and academic careers: Bianca\u2019s skills in the world of E-commerce and associated software, Eleonora\u2019s managerial skills, Robert\u2019s expertise with regard to green coffee and its roasting, and Simone\u2019s experience with tools and working behind the bar (Simone and Robert are also trainers in our <\/span>\u00a0Espresso Academy<\/span><\/a>).<\/span><\/p>\n

Of course, it\u2019s not enough to have the right people. You also need a vision, a clear project philosophy, and we, in creating Caff\u00e8Lab, chose several fundamental values:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
